Alice L. is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from coastal Maine. Studying Studio Composition at SUNY Purchase and Jazz Studies at the University of Maine, Augusta, has broadened her deep understanding and stylistic scope as an artist and teacher. Since her introduction to guitar at the age of 11, Alice has since professionally studied voice, piano, guitar, banjo, ukulele, music theory, and production. She enjoys teaching all these wonderful instruments and inspiring her students of all ages and skill levels.
Alice has been performing throughout the Northeast for years. She began releasing records when she was 16 years old with Not Gonna Fall Asleep Tonight and recently released her self-produced album, The Space Between, to widespread critical acclaim.
Songwriting has been a part of her life since before she played guitar. Sharing songwriting with her students is one of her greatest joys. She’s had several releases, the latest of which is an album of original songs called “As Close As You Can Be Without Touching”. She has also toured in the Northeast and led several bands.
