What Makes A Good Fit?

Students can range in age from 3 years old to senior citizens, and beginners with no experience to advanced students. Often students enjoy exploring multiple instruments, or families may have multiple children, each pursuing a different instrument. Teachers with experience as dual principals or high level experience teaching multiple instruments are encouraged to apply and can often more quickly build a roster of students.

It’s important for teachers to have experience teaching different styles of music, from Baroque through Classical, Romantic, and 20th Century music, including contemporary styles like pop, rock, jazz, songwriting, and the ever popular Disney songbook.
