Our Semester Plan offers deep discount for clients who wish to reserve their weekly lessons for an entire semester. At Forbes Music Company, the year is broken up into two semesters. We closely follow the school calendars, but they may not match exactly. For students signed up on semester plan, winter break dates and Federal holidays may be requested to be excluded for convenience but we will still schedule lessons during this time. Semester Plan families may request to omit lesson dates that fall on federal holidays before the semester invoice is charged. Please email us the holiday dates you’d like to skip, and we’ll remove them from your invoice. Unfortunately, scheduled dates can not be omitted from the calendar or invoice.

Fall Semester

Our fall semester begins September 1st and runs through January 31st. The number of dates in the semester will vary depending on the day lessons are scheduled. 

For clients scheduling semesterly, Federal Holidays and Winter Break are only removed by request.

Spring Semester

Our spring semester always begins February 1st and runs through June 30th. The number of dates in the semester will vary depending on the day lessons are scheduled. 

For clients scheduling semesterly, Federal Holidays and Winter Break are only removed by request.

While the Semester Plan discounts and perks are exceptional, cancellations and reschedules are still subject to our cancellation policy.

Reminder: Lesson dates cannot be removed for Semester Plan clients. Date omissions are only available for families on a monthly schedule
